PermaSeal Man-Entry Joint Rehabilitation

Leaking joints in pipeline systems are costly to maintain and result in unsatisfactory performance. PermaSeal is an internal mechanical sealing system for leaking joints and cracks in man-entry pipes.

Key Features:

  • Suitable for pipe diameter 700mm to 3,000mm
  • Pipes can be circular, oviform, arch and channels
  • Used in a variety of pipes for drinking water, oil, gas and wastewater
  • Pressure range 20 bar internal and 0.5 to 3 bar external
  • In severe infiltration, injectable resin or grout is used
  • No excavation required, with one man-entry entrance
  • Simple and fast assembly, thus, minimising disruption to services

The seals are made of high quality nitrile-butadiene-rubber for sewage and gas, and EDPM-rubber for portable drinking water. The elastic quality and the expansion fold take over certain axial dislocations at the socket without impairing the sealing function. An optimum sealing of joints is further guaranteed by the two-sided double web.
